There are certain facts that one must keep in mind while selecting good argumentative essay topics since there may be a variety of opinions and views to express on the issue. It requires quite a bit of research to find out points that support the statement and any untrue or fake information which are misleading can be detrimental to the writing quality of the essay.
It is
better to select and off-the-track essay topic since that has not been on the
light much or to say, people have been less acquainted with it. The reason
behind such selection is that audience will find it more interesting and they
may think and develop more views on it which means they have taken an interest
in the argumentative essay topic. Essays may be chosen based on recently
occurring controversial issues such as from politics, worldwide problems, a crime which is debatable, and also subjects for students pursuing higher
studies such as MBA, MA, etc.
It
would be wise to brainstorm the environment, raising voices against the
prejudices and superstitions prevailing in the society. Also clarifying doubts and
misinterpretations on some argumentative essay topics, by the media, can provoke
public interest and care thus creating social awareness too.
But
proposing and putting forward facts to support the argumentative essay topic
needs much studying and research to find out past facts too, especially topics
on recent history. Putting forward some unknown or lesser-known facts may prove
to be interesting to the public.
It is
also good to choose the law and their amendment related subjects, which may
arouse public curiosity and enhance their knowledge whereby they will develop
some views about it making the argumentative essay topic more successful.
Last
but not least, it is unwise to select an essay topic that covers a variety
of facts meaning, too spread out to discuss leading to make it big and rather
boring or diverting from the actual topic.
